I explain how to build strong teams in Pokémon Champions regardless of how much you spend, focusing on recruitment resources and team roles.
I start by covering the game's recruitment system, including the 22-hour recruit timer, the use of quick coupons and VPs, the 2,500 VP cost to permanently keep and edit a Pokémon, and how trial recruitment works. I also show how daily and weekly missions, tutorials, events, ranked battles, and box-space rewards provide the resources needed to steadily expand your roster. Along the way, I mention the limited type-focused tickets and share the mystery gift code haj1mar1g1ft, which grants 100 recruitment coupons.
From there, I recommend planning at least three different teams instead of investing everything into a single composition. I then explain the main team roles: supporters, including weather/field setters and speed control; DPS or primary carries; sub-DPS; and counter picks.
To finish, I walk through my own Pokémon box and several recruitment choices, using Pokebase and ranked battle data to explain my reasoning and show how I plan future team builds.
